For RGB workflows it looks like you'll have to EDL back to the
conform tool of your choice, following the same workflow as under
Final Touch.
If they improved FCP's handling of RGB they're not touting it and
it's not mentioned in the tech specs.
The problem with the Geometery Room in Color was with interlaced
material (I've seen it, it's terrible). The folks using it on
progressive codecs seemed to be happy with the quality of its
rendered repo's and Color still supports 2K DPX and Cineon files with
up to 32-bit rendering (I haven't seen it, so I can't give an
informed opinion of the quality of those repo's).
