[Tig] TIG Off-Topic area

There is a new area on the TIG wiki specifically for Off-Topic  
posting, that remains on the wiki and is not
sent out via the mailinglist (to avoid clogging mailboxes).  One can  
think of it as the water-cooler at the
office, where you can share conversation not related to color or  
telecine, or a coffee-break area.. As the wiki
is not attuned to pages of more than 40k or so we might move this  
over to a blogging platform like wordpress or
joomla or drupal etc.  if it becomes at all popular.  The TIGOT page  
for TIG wiki users to use is at
http://tig.colorist.org/wiki3/index.php/TIGOT    (i started it off  
with a physics question; my usual source for
answers to these kinds of questions is unavailable.)

and remember you can subscribe via RSS to the Recent Changes page on  
the wiki in order to see of additions or changes
to the TIG wiki via email or other mechanism by going to
http://tig.colorist.org/wiki3/index.php/Special:Recentchanges
and clicking on the RSS tab in the URL space (assuming you are using  
an RSS-capable browser).
