The best freely available information is from Digital Praxis 
(http://www.digitalpraxis.net/).  Look under "Technical Papers" for 
"DI Guide".  There is also an excellent (more refined) free document 
from Quantel's web site written by the same author (Steve Shaw). 
Apparently Quantel must own that document now so Steve started a new 
document from scratch.  I think that Steve's work is excellent and 
encourage everyone to read his document and send him your comments so 
that he can continue to improve it.
