The Jasper library goes kaput, even when built as a 64-bit
application. It must contain arbitrary 32-bit limits. Other
libraries exist but they have less pleasant usage licenses.
I am trying another tool now. It has been crunching for quite a while
now and is consuming 10GB of memory for one of the "smaller" images.
It seems that the post-production industry should not jump to these
resolutions yet. :-)
