Thanks to Glenn Chan for supporting the TIG.

I am using a DaVinci 2k in HD tape to tape

going from HDcam to HDcam in df tc. I am using a

client supplied EDL which is fine as far as all the

marks landing where they should although after you

read this you might think I'm a bit off.

Herein is my dilema. The marks are

"floating" if you will. One minute the marks land fine

and I go back and find that they are off by 1 to a few

frames. So I go back and reset and check it and it's

off. The deck is fine, the tape is fine. Last Friday

when I left the marks were landing where they should,

dead on and now they are not and there is no

consistency whatsoever. And of course all this comes

at a time when I'm slammed to the wall. But then I

knew when I woke up this morning that Mercury was in

retrograde and that voice in my head was telling me to

just stay home....to honor the Vets, not b/c of the

Mercury thing. Does anyone have even a hint of a

clue what's going on here besides a ghost in my

machine?!

  Mucho thanks,

   Rick
