Be careful how you read this spec.

You can of course view an image on the monitor from this acute angle -
whether it is the same contrast and hue as viewing it perpendicularly is
quite another matter. It depends on the type of panel the monitor uses.

I've only found one manufacturer to give you a separate contrast ratio at
this extreme viewing angle. Others I have looked at do not.

e.g.

" Viewing Angles (H, V)   178°, 178° (at contrast ratio of 10:1)"


Disclaimer: I don't work for Eizo but appreciate their accurate
specification in this regard.
