Still a lot of telecines out there...  but I have brought that
question up a
couple of times in the last 18 months and the consensus was to keep the
branding TIG but adjust the acronym's origin to suit, there were
several
interesting suggestions.

visited the wiki lately?  it's as good a resource as "you want it to
be" :]

(i.e. contributions are sought.  I've poured thousands of manhours
into it
and anyone can help.)
