[Tig] lasergraphics director

Has anyone had any experience with The Director scanner from  
Lasergraphics?  Any comments, experiences, or news would be greatly  
appreciated.  It really is quite amazing what one can do these days  
with $300-350k  (Director + Scratch).  It definitely looks and sounds  
like an attractive package versus spending the same amount on a used  
Shadow or something similar, then still being left without a color  
corrector.
