Allright Tim,
I'll let it go. You know I like you, and it seems like you made a mistake. Fair
enough....
I think you give me far too much credit, the folks on this forum are well
practiced at ignoring me, and I've made an idiot out of myself way too many
times in this place...
I'm sorry my comments about Lustre offend you. It was a painful experience for
me, my friend and Director of Engineering, my partners, and all of Optimus.
Autodesk is well aware of that, and I haven't said anything specific. I said a
few years ago that my Davinci was plagued because it crashed all the time (at
the time, that rev) and that every version they came out with required a
complete re-build of configs. Nobody lost business. I got a few emails that said
"way to go" and a few that said "you suck".... such is my life on the TIG and
other forums. I like conversation. I like debate. I get bored easily.
Sorry, slow week... and a late drunken night - right before I read your post.
We're still friends man - I wish you all the best as I always have, and hope you
continue to kick the shit out of whatever you're working on... I know you will.
Tell the DP's you work with I'm an idiot and don't know what I'm talking about..
it won't be a far stretch for them to believe given my comments on the
CML......... !!!
Healthy debate is goood. The George W. Bush school of PR that says "repeat it
enough times til people believe it's true" - is bad - do me a favor and convey
that to your friends at Scratch.
Oh yeah, you've forgotten. We have sushi, great cars, great food and great
sports in Chicago - seems to me I get tix to all of it. You don't think I might
have been a bit too sarcastic there, do you? Whoops! my bad!
Now get outta here and go make something look beautiful - you knucklehead.
Best -
Craig
