[Tig] SoCal Fires - no posts? - Got Clean Optics?

You know...with the advent of the Spirit's diffused light source, I  
think film dirt has become somewhat of an oxymoron. You have to  
remember that dirt was a genuine problem with the Cintel machines  
collumated tube source, and static was a bitch.

I can't think of the last time that dirt has been a problem in 35mm.  
Perhaps in small gauge.

Just came in from a walk through the Santa Monica farmers market. 95  
degrees farenheit, dead calm, and a warmth to the light that makes it  
seem like magic hour at noon. Very 1984, Blade Runner.

Perhaps we are on to something here.
