I'm would consider myself a new colorist, but I always use scopes when  
color correcting and when mastering to deliver to Televisa and TV Azteca,  
legal levels are a must, for any profesional delivery, no mater if for SD  
on air or simply a DVD for a presentation or for web based distribution.
