Hi Rob,
          These measurements are perfectly normal measurements that can
be done by anyone who knows what they are doing .. The equipment is also
available to anyone. If there are any discrepencies whith them, any
inaccuracies then please let me know .. anyone can let me know.
As for placing competitors products higher than mine .... If they are
better in any area I would openly say so. I always try to give people a
realistic idea, and I think people appreciate it, sometimes it means I
don't get a sale, but at least people come back.

which open disclosure - not a disclaimer - brings all the measurements  
into question, as they're done with a significant bias.   If I were  
doing measurements while employed by Sony, I wouldn't place JVC any  
higher than my own product, unless it were a cost issue.

anyway, let this be the last about this, the advertising restrictions  
on the TIG are well known.
