I'm sure you're right, but there has been some controversy about this
in the past, in such places as gated communities... The ARRL in the US
has gone to court in some cases to allow radio amateurs the tower
height they need. (or, in the case of longwires, should I say the
length they want.) I got to know most of the hams with towers in the
Hollywood Hills over the years and the one with the best signal used
cubical quads that were actually really nice-looking, to the radio
enthusiast. This particular amateur had been the radio operator on the
Queen Mary at one point (he was old) and had a complete radio museum
in his house.

I quite agree, you know, much of the world doesn't use clothes dryers,
and it was a readjustment for me back to the ways of my mom during
childhood, that sun-drying or air-drying is an order of magnitude more
friendly than using a dryer.
