Immensely. So the answer is, stations are mostly but not entirely UHF for 
now, many until they discontinue NTSC service and can go digital on their 
historical channel. Being in film post primarily, I don't get a clear idea of these 
things, despite getting the SMPTE journal :-)

So I presume we'll be back to needing both VHF and UHF antennas, essentially 
identical to NTSC. Will going back to VHF impact possible mobile DTV services, 
since a lot more physical antenna is typically needed at lower frequencies? 
Or is that a willing trade-off against being more subject to rain interference?
