[Tig] DVW 500 VITC question

I have a DVW500/P D-Beta and don't have the operation manual. The deck
is recording ok with LTC and the VITC indicator is illuminated. In jog
however the T/C display on the deck is frozen at a random number and
doesn't increment when jogging. This indicates to me that VITC isn't
being recorded properly. The switches underneath the panel are
VITC=on, INT, REC RUN, AUTO, and Setup=2.

Most likely I need to set a function in the Menu numerics to enable
VITC, can someone advise which menu items I need to set?
