[Tig] How to do the SD to Film?

Hi guys,

 

We have a SD PAL 25Frame/S tape for commercial, and we want to shoot it on
35mm film by our ARRILaser, what is the best way to do this? We have
Autodesk Smoke, Lustre, Flame, Shake, and Final Cut Pro. Here is our plan:

1, Capture the SD tape into 720x576 .dpx or .cin files by Somke or Flame,
enlarge it to a resolution which is best for the film.

What is the best resolution?

 

2, Convert it into RGB 10bit log space by Shake or other applications

 

3, Shoot it by Arrilaser

 

Is there any problem in our plan?

 

We have local sound-processing companies to deal with the sound part, they
can slow down the 25Hz to 24Hz and print it into the sound track on film.
