Quoting Rob Lingelbach <rob at colorist.org>:
>> And, last week, I had a 2000 foot roll of 16mm. Imagine this: one
>> hour of material, taking 3 hours at least to grade, and the client
>> feeling somewhat impatient at the prospect of taking a break (to
>> refocus the eyes) at the 2-hour mark.

I can imagine clients saying, thinking or doing ANYTHING....

Step 1: Excuse yourself to go to the john. Take a walk for 10 minutes. Return
to room. Everyone will assume you had a Burrito or Chili for Lunch/Breakfast
etc... if you've eaten with them, blame it on IBS. = Works for me every time.
Don't EVER admit you're going to "take a break". It's an invitation for
complaints/discounts/bitchiness

Step 2: "Fatigue"??? C'mon Rob, get back in the Iron Butt saddle. Try doing 35
rolls a day, then starting sessions at 6:00 pm WITH clients on a nice double
shift. That's when the fatigue sets in.... 1 2000' roll of 16mm??? PPPfffftttt
that's nothing man.

That's my 2 cents for the week ending 2.28.08
