One last OT thing about the TiVo, and then I'll shut up about it:

I can talk to my TiVos remotely over a web interface. So if I'm on a shoot
somewhere and someone mentions some show I may be interested in which airs
that evening, I can log in from anywhere and set any of the boxes at my place
up to record it. Within 15 minutes or so of my request, the desired show will
appear on the TiVo's "To-do" list.

It's a way cool feature.
