I forgot to mention the following, quite important:

I do not receive any personal compensation from  Thomson/GV nor from
Cintel.

However, to set the record straight, and this does not affect my
opinion in the slightest, Cintel does support the TIG annually,
while Thomson/GV refuses to contribute.
