[Tig] don't trust what you read on the web (except TIG)

In a good example of web misinformation taken to an extreme, this story:

I posted a followup that attempted to correct the most important  
errors, but I count several more a few of which are weird in a  
circular sense.

The article is about some film cannisters [sic] found in a garage that  
were telecine [sic] recordings [sic] ... as film was cheaper than  
video tape, which was very expensive [dept. of redundancy dept.] and  
mentions that early Dr. Who episodes are returned copies of telecine  
versions, restored by the restoration team to make them look like  
video again [?]

I think the reference is to kinescopes, and gently pointed out that  
the posting is backwards, [needing only Superman to say it the right  
way {was that Mr. Mzypltck?}].

Anyway I wonder what's in the other 62 "rusty film cannisters [sic] in  
South London?"
