Hello:
What is the difference between Kodak and Fuji negative emultions? I´ve heard multiple opinions from DPs that are even contradictory. Are there saturation and contrast issues? Is Fuji emulating Kodak? How about grain?
In my experience Fuji neg comes out warmer than the Kodak TAF, (Vision 2) and when a gray card is balanced blues and greens are more saturated. I have not been able to compare the two, side by side, since I´d need someone to shoot both under the same conditions. Both emultions render beautifull images in my telecine!
