They are definitely different, one of the more noticeable differences  
in the "orange" mask on the negative, Kodak's is very orange and  
fuji's is more red.  Beyond that I find each stock to have it's own  
nature, i.e. you cannot directly compare Fuji 500D to Kodak 250D in  
any way...
