As a Unix/Linux user I would agree with your statement but ask
that these platforms I mention be included, as they are important,
specifically in being more compliant with open-source standards.

on what platform with the SDK be available?  If it's Windows, for  
example,
it's like waiting for Godot.  If Windoze and OS X, then better,,... if  
it's
also Unix/Linux then excellent.
