[Tig] TIG forums and wiki merge status

The TIG forums section, at
http://www.colorist.org/forums
is partially merged with the TIG wiki, such that:
on the forums you'll see a link at the top of the pages for 'wiki'  
that will take you directly to the TIG wiki.  Your username and  
password for the forums is stored and retrieved from the same database  
table as the username and password for the TIG wiki, and also does IP  
address checking so logging in to the forums will automatically place  
you in your TIG wiki user.   There may be some complications if you're  
in a NATed IP and someone else on the same LAN tries to log in as a  
different user, in which case there are some IP switches I can use to  
repair the situation.

Note that the forums have RSS feeds available so you can be notified  
of any new posts, and significant user customization, including  
profiles and all the things you've possibly seen on social networking  
sites.
There will be further developments in merging the two systems into one  
knowledge base.
