Hi Jim,
Interesting points you made there, and it's nice that daVinci thought of the comfort and health of us colourists but I've worked on panels with a tablet and never really had any discomfort. Biggest discomfort for me would be to shift to the side everytime I would have to draw a mask with a pen. Honestly, I was expecting a nice tablet on the new panels from daVinci but was a bit disappointed when hearing the news.
Don't think my two cents will make a huge difference in the design of the panels anymore since they are being manufactured (?) but I just felt I had to express myself.
