The CAP code is deliberately placed (by the studios) in key parts of the film that would be difficult to edit out for story reasons, in an attempt to prevent just that. That's the theory, anyway. They also try to place them indiscreetly, but still visible to those who know where to look for them. But all that aside, I just think the pirates don't care to spend the time and energy to find and remove them.
