[Tig] fire at Universal Studios

Story now in LA Times about a fire at Universal Studios:

and there's this note that sounds ominous- that perhaps some precious  
film was lost:

At 9:30 a.m., the fire was burning in a cavernous video vault  
containing television video and copies of television film, some dating  
to the 1920s. At one point this morning, firefighters were hastily  
removing canisters from the building by hand, but Universal officials  
said that the archives were copies.
