By "The Matrix", I'm guesing you mean all 3. Yes, none of them were DIs.
Although, while at Pacific Title in LA, I had done two long vfx sequences
for the second film - the so-called "Freeway" sequence and the "Burley
Brawl" sequence. We were doing the scanning for the shows and sending
plates to FX facilities like ESC, Buff, Animal Logic, DFilm, PacTitle, and
others.

During this time, we were also beta-testing the 5D Colossus system
(essentially Colorfront SACC), which later became Lustre. So Dan Glass (one
of the VFX supers) and I, along with some other folks from ESC, spent about
a week on the Colossus/Lustre grading the various VFX sequences. Total
screen time was probably around 30-40 minutes of the 2nd film.
