What are you ultimately trying to accomplish with the timecode patching? Are stations on the other side of the building capturing A/V tc etc. in real time? The signals you are attempting to send will seriously degrade. Wouldn't it make more sense to capture locally and read the files remotely?
You can setup a capture station to be remotely contolled fairly easily. Also most pro devices have Rs422 connections which will pass TC etc. info more reliably over longer distances.

BTW there is a separate video/TC out because VITC timecode does not always correspond with TC track timecode, particularly with dubs.
