Hi all,

Just a quick question. I am xferring super 35 mm shot dailies that will eventually be used to create a 1:2.35 anamorphic DI negative. The DP wants to have a mask to highlight the 1:2.35 image area. He also wants to see what else is on the rest of the frame.  This way he can see he will be able to reframe later in the DI.

I can use one of a square window to make everything outside the 1:2.35 image area darker, basically creating a transparent mask. Is there an easier way to do this? If not, why not? The last statement goes directly to the DaVinci boys and girls.
