Yes, I have read about the JVC display. I think that it is something 
like 42", which is a bit big for a desk.  It does use analog drivers 
rather than digital.

Widescreen Review had a display technology "shootout" in which this 
display was involved and since then (maybe two years) I have not heard 
anything more.
