Transmitted HD video is likely to be 4:2:2 YcbCr (effectively already 
somewhat compressed).  Without transmission overhead, that seems to 
take 1.3Gbits/second so 1.5Gbits/second is about right.  That would be 
one HD-SDI link, right?
