[Tig] slightly OT: Solaris (ZFS etc.)

Well Bob Friesenhahn's recent remarks about Solaris' ZFS filesystem
got me wanting to return to that OS after about a decade away, so I
installed it on a MacBook Pro running Leopard, inside a virtual
machine. Not enough diskspace to do much with ZFS on a notebook, but
it's nice to have so many options for windowing (X11 on OSX, X11 on
Solaris, Java RTE on Solaris, Enlightenment WM on X11 on OSX, Aqua on
OSX, .... there must be some I forget..) I put a screenshot up at
http://tig.colorist.org/wiki3/index.php/Photo_albums
and am interested in sharing both Enlightenment configurations and
Solaris tips with others, should anyone be interested. (screenshot
does not include Enlightenment)
Enlightenment is open source, Solaris is now OpenSolaris but not
necessarily the version I'm running; X11 has always been open source,
and Macintoshes are expensive. I am not compensated by any of these
entities mentioned.
