Has anyone got any experience using this unit?
I am upgrading from my For-A fa830 to an HD color corrector and this unit seems like it will be pretty neat.
www.tcube.tv FIG with Tomato software.
Has color correction control via ethernet to a computer as a remote. Full contol over 1D and 3D LUTS. (controls similar to photoshop curves allowing you to also store scene files).
The color grading controls is setup to look like an audio equalizer panel with RGBCMY 'sliders' for the BLACKS/MIDS/HIGHLIGHTS.
Seems pretty interesting. They sell it with either a 1D or 3D LUT or both for color correction.
I don't know enough about 3D LUTs to know what the difference is. Can anyone advise as to if I would be fine with just the 1D LUT, or if I would really gain by getting the 3D setup?
DISCLAIMER: I have no commercial/financial interest in this product.
Thanks!
Justin
