This is all determined by some engineer in China or Japan.  If one 
considers that the music in these countries is tonally completely 
different than european inspired music, and the popular colors in 
those countries are tonally completely different than european and 
american inspired colors, the colors being selected for us might not 
be optimized for our viewing.

But of course there should always be a "standard" setting which 
accuratly portrays colors according to published standards.
