[Tig] custom TV looks

I took delivery of a spanking new Wega CRT about 9 years ago and was  
really looking forward to some great pictures, and of course on boot- 
up it looked like hell.  So you get busy and dig through all the  
sports and movie and 'normal' settings taking out all the pre-set  
enhancement and velocity and detail (over)compensation blah-blah-blah  
stuff and its starts getting back to "real" normal, instead of Fred- 
and-Marge Philco normal.  Not that  there was anything wrong with  
Philco...

Of course, my spouse wants to pitch the entire issue out, because she  
simply wants to watch TV by 'pushing a button' (can you imagine?),  
instead of preflighting the Space Shuttle.  C'mon sweetie, you know  
you won't get rich black without the sub-etha-net hydrazine  
condensers being pre-super-cooled to -179C....  And Victor will still  
sell the company to get back at his daughter's boyfriend's step- 
mother who he used to be having an affair with, when his third wife  
was dying of (insert rare disease here), and.... meanwhile, back at  
the ranch...
