hah.  what they're trying to do is the kind of electronic sleuthing  
that I find interesting, like decoding RF from baseband (GNU radio) in  
software only, and you'll find on the site you mentioned a 'secret'  
link to one person's solution to decrypting analog satellite feeds by  
applying his descrambling algorithm.
