Hello fine peers,

I'm auditing a film class at Ferris State University this summer so I can
teach it when the current Professor retires next year. I already teach a
basic Photoshop class, TV Studio Techniques and DVD Production, so one
more class would be cool to have. I'd love to still work as a Colorist
but when you move to the backwoods that doesn't work. Up here if you say
you are a Colorist they ask, what salon?

Anyway, these project shoot reversal on antiquated Bolex cameras. I have
one of my own with the usual problems but it'll get me through this
project. Along the way I will shoot a few hundred feet of negative film
and will need to transfer that plus the cut reversal to mini-dv stock
preferably in hi def, depending on what I can come up with for a facility.
 It's not much.

I'd love to self op /4 wall / barter for a couple of hours to do the work
myself. In the past I was able to trade 2.5:1 2.5 hours my work on
facility projects for 1 hour of work on my own stuff. Perhaps I can find
an arrangement of similar fashion in the Midwest? It's a stretch, I know,
but tryin' can't hurt!

There is a possibility of future projects needing the same services
through a few developing clients I have through my video company, Carom
Video. To establish anything in the way of film services I have to get
out of the gate with the right facility, so to speak.

More info available if you want it, feel free to forward this and be sure
to have a great day!
