Telecine Colorist

Efilm Australia is a boutique, design-led digital postproduction  
facility that combines client-centred services with the advanced  
technologies of the world's leading Digital Intermediate facility,  
Efilm in Hollywood, and Australia's world-class film laboratory,  
Atlab. The company is seeking to appoint a full time Dailies Colorist.

Reporting to the Post Production Supervisor and Operations Manager,  
the successful applicant will be responsible for:

·         Operation of Spirit 2K Data-cine, Davinci 2K plus, Aaton  
Keylink.
·         One Light, Best Light, Graded rushes transfers, in various  
HD & SD standards
·         Setup and Operation of ancillary equipment including VTR’s
·         Identifying and resolving technical issues independently.
·         Quality Control of outgoing material.
·         Meeting regular despatch deadlines on a job by job basis.


This is not an entry-level position. Candidates should have a minimum  
12 months experience as a Dailies Colorist. Experience in the  
operation of Davinci 2K is essential, as is an understanding of the  
various HD and SD video standards and tape formats.

To succeed, the applicant must possess excellent organisational and  
time management skills, have the ability to maintain a high level of  
attention to detail, work independently to meet frequent and regular  
deadlines, and communicate well with both staff & clients.

Applicants are advised that this is a Night Shift position.

Salary will be negotiated in accordance with skills and experience.
