The need for higher resolutions are pretty obvious when larger formats
are involved. Processing the larger images in a reasonable amount of
time can be dealt with by simply throwing more hardware at the
problem. However, it seems that display technologies have not kept
up. I am curious to know how one works effectively if the display
used is not capable of displaying pixel-for-pixel. If the images need
to be scaled dramatically for display, it seems that many image
defects will be hidden. What sort of display is used when working at
6K or 8K resolution?
