Yeah, it's poo, and I don't mind saying that here since I've said it to David
Keighley personally, but not in a mean way :-) And for some reason they keep
showing it, even though it obviously doesn't look good. My theory is they
didn't reduce spot size (or couldn't) and are getting beam overwrites, and David
sort of agreed. Their 4K looks fine, no problem at all.
But if you do go to a small, thinner beam, how long does it take you to shoot
out a reel? My impression is that it would start turning into geological
time, and the jobs I get generally need to be finished still in the Holocene. At
least before the end of the Anthropocene :-)
