[Tig] Fw: HD Scala color corrector..?

Hey Adrian,

I'm looking for an 'inline' solution that I can put inbetween the SDI from my scanner/camera and the SDI capture computer.


The Scala seems quite basic as far as controls go.  Shadows/mids/highlights RGB, but nothing really beyond that.
The fig was cool because you could build 1D curves which would allow you to constrain areas in the curve to keep them from being affected by the color adjustment.

I also don't really see any additional control for sharpness/noise reduction or keying/ isolating and (de)saturating specific colors.  Just basic CC control.

Hi Justin,
The interface looks a lot like the Avid Color correction 'symphony style' interface.
Why not use that? It real time and renderless as well.

Definitely not similar to a Pogle though. Yes it controls a color grading application 
and it has external controller interface but that is as close as the relationship goes.

Has anyone got any experience with this product?  I was told it has similar controls to a pogle.
