[Tig] +6db on Spirit

Worse signal to noise actually - you're just putting more gain into the
head amp. Basically, it might help you with very dense film if you're
not getting enough signal out. Normally you would run it in 0dB.

What benefits are there to running the Spirit in +6db gain mode, other
than
what I imagine is better signal-to-noise ratio?   is there more  
dynamic range?

are there any downsides?
