Ahhhhhh  Richard !!!

I should've known you'd have a clue at what I was talking about -

yeah, like this site -

I forgot they were called Autochromes, and I was trying to remember if 
it was the Lumière brothers or not.....

Thanks for jogging my mind - truly remarkable, this technique, as it was 
the first reproduction of color that didn't require hand work ( drawing 
or painting or retouching ) by the Photographer or Artist.... or at 
least, that's the way I learned it.
