Interesting.  However, Kodak's appraisal of its patent's value is 
surely more accurate (and perhaps is still an understatement) than the 
puny 500 million offer.  They will be foolish to accept the 500 
million, but the decision might be up to some judge.

Every cell phone and pad computer contains at least one digital camera 
and the market is still exploding.  Kodak may have done a bad job of 
capitalizing on its digital talents, but they did develop many 
ground-breaking technologies before other companies did and so their 
patents are more valuable.
