[Tig] 8bit vs 10bit for TV

I'm dealing with a graphic right this very second that is 8-bit and
shows ramp stepping even as an original element, because it has
(otherwise) a lovely iris gradient. But since very many deliverables
are okay with HDcam, then 8-bit is what they get, one way or another,
like it or not.

If its already graded.... probably. 10-bit is the bigger container
and 99% of the time it will be fine... Except for that clear sky, or
fabulous sunset shot.
But hey, after H.264 compression to the broadcaster's server, all
bets are off, anyway.
