[Tig] Measuring a DCI-theatre projector - new vs old lamp

Would it look overexposed or just excessively bright? Not sure how a hot
lamp would cause clipping. My guess would be a calibration issue with the
projector is at fault. But not necessarily just the light output of the
lamp.

Given that they had just calibrated a worn out bulb, right before replacing
said bulb, the calibration would have probably excessively goosed the gain
to hit 14fL, then when the new buld got put in, the gain goosing would have
still been active, causing the "over exposure" but there is nothing in the
lamp brightness itself that would cause the clipped appearance. You could
easily operate a projector at 20fL and have full fidelity of image, it
would just be excessively bright, but not blown out.
