[Tig] Are colors constituted by their relations to subjects?

Are colors ‘a priori’ (existing from deduction or theory) or do they exist only by means of our perception?
A recent study, “Colour Relationalism and the Real Deliverances of Introspection” examines the question as it is perceived by a majority of “ordinary people."

The abstract hints at a conclusion in favor of the empirical knowledge of color.
