My name is Liao, and I a chinese, I am working in the Hualong Film Digital Production in Beijing, China. I have an American friend named Joel, I have known him for 4 years since he was a technical support of QuVIS(a digital film server manufacturer). He is a very nice guy, but QuVIS is not in a very good situation now. Batch of its employees were fired at the end of last year, include Joel. He is keeping in finding a position in American companies engage in film or digital film industry since then, however the luck is still not with him. So I post this message here to find more opportunities for him.

He is about 40 years old, very humor. He has full experience in film production and digital cinema industry. He helped us build up the very first digital cinema system in China ever since 2003. He is very dedicated to his career, love it. He is very experienced in communicating with multi-national people. I have learned not only the knowledges of film from him, but the way of handling the tough issues.

I post this personally without telling him, so I do not want to make his contact info be exposed on the internet. If your company may be short of hand, please contact me(Liao.zd@gmail.com), I forward the good news to him immediately. I will be so appreciated.

Hi Liao

Liao, your request was handled by a posting on the tig mailinglist and also on the wiki classifieds. Good luck. --Rob Lingelbach 21:42, 24 March 2007 (PDT)

Which works well?

Hi. We are in the process of upgrading our current system and we're planning to purchase a noise and grain reducer for our DI. We havent seen any reviews regarding the Cintel Grace on the web as well as the Digital Vision DVNR. For an experienced colorist, which works better? Grace or DVNR? I hope someone could give me an insight on this two systems. Thank you very much.
